10 Ways to Create Personal Happiness in Your Life!
For the last few years, I have become a “mad (happy) scientist” on a quest to understand positive thinking and happiness. It became important to me after a few personal “unpleasant” life events. Here’s what I learned:
- There truly is no gain, without pain, BUT if you stick it out, the end result feels awesome (most of the time)!
- Life happens, positive thoughts make the bumpy ride smoother.
- Worry, complaining, and anxiety are the enemies of Positivity and Happiness.
- Positive people stick together (mostly because we annoy negative people)!
- When you are positive and happy, conversations with unhappy people can sometimes be draining.
- The journey toward happiness is simple, but not easy.
- Unhappiness starts with our own negative inner chatter, tell your brain to “BE QUIET!”
- Smiling helps create happy hormones, so smile more!
- Being present-centered, living in the now helps create positivity and happiness. Don’t worry about the past, because it’s gone. Don’t worry about the future, because it’s not here yet.
- Be grateful for what you have, create a daily practice to give thanks.
There is so much more I could tell you about positive states and happiness, but this list sums it up best.
