Hey there, vintage treasure hunters! It’s me, your quirky and friendly vintage curator, back again with another round of “The Curator’s Picks.” This week, I’ve got some fabulously unique finds that I can’t wait to share with you all. So, cozy up, and let’s dive into the most fabulous vintage goodies of the week! Let’s dive into The Curator’s Picks: The Best Vintage Finds Of The Week!
Beam Me Up, Scotty! The Star Trek Bundle
First up on our cosmic adventure is my favorite find of the week, the Star Trek bundle! This out-of-this-world bundle includes three records, an unsigned photo of the legendary William Shatner (if only it was signed!), and two unopened display models. As a pop culture fan, stumbling upon these gems felt like winning the vintage lottery. Fellow Trekkies, you won’t want to miss out on this interstellar bundle!
Here’s a quick rundown of the goodies in this bundle:
A discontinued 1991 AMT ERTL #6007 Vintage Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise Command Bridge Model Kit (valued at $50-60)
A discontinued 1991 AMT ERTL #6006U Star Trek Special Edition Galileo II Shuttlecraft Kit (valued at $70-80)
An unsigned William Shatner photo (valued at $15-20)
A book from Blockbuster circa 1996 (talk about a blast from the past! Valued at $15-20)
Three STAR TREK Children’s Albums from 1979 (valued between $25-50 depending on condition)
Wii U Games Extravaganza!
Next up, we’ve got a collection of 30 Wii U games that we curated this week. While some might consider vintage gaming a thing of the past, we’ve noticed that they’re actually quite the hit in our booth. Super Mario Bros and Zelda games practically fly off the shelves! Since Nintendo discontinued Wii U and Wii systems in 2017, these not-quite-vintage-yet items can be hard to find or rare, creating a market for eager gamers. We sell Wii games all the time, so they’re definitely still in demand! Oh, my vintage-loving friends! These games we’ve got here can fetch a pretty penny, ranging from a cool $10 to a whopping $50! That’s a whole lot of moolah if you ask me. Cha-ching!
Spring Fling with Blue-Inspired Decor
If you’re looking to spruce up your space with some delightful home decor, our blue spring-inspired bundle is just the ticket. We’ve handpicked a medley of items to give your home a fresh and lively vibe, including vases, candle holders, and decorative plates. These beauties are perfect for adding a burst of color to any room and are a must-have for any vintage aficionado.
Glassware Galore
Although glassware isn’t always the hottest commodity, every now and then we come across some truly exquisite pieces. This week, we’ve curated a collection of stunning glassware items that will make you swoon. From a vintage “Bubble Up” green bottle to six 70s yellow cups with flowers, these pieces are as functional as they are stylish.
Some Parting Thoughts
As your trusty vintage curator, my mission isn’t just to find cool items, but also to present them in a way that makes them shine. Curating is an art form, and it’s something I take immense pride in. By thoughtfully selecting and arranging items, I create a shopping experience that’s both enjoyable and memorable for my customers.
Discovering amazing vintage treasures isn’t always a walk in the park, but it’s definitely worth the pursuit. Whether I’m combing through estate sales, thrift stores, or online marketplaces, I’m always on the hunt for unique and captivating pieces. It’s this sense of adventure and exhilaration that makes vintage curating such a blast.
Well, my lovely treasure seekers, that’s all for this week’s edition of “The Curator’s Picks.” I hope you had as much fun reading about my favorite vintage finds as I had curating them. Remember, vintage shopping is all about the thrill of the hunt, so strap on your adventure boots and start exploring! Who knows what incredible vintage treasures you might uncover? Until next time, happy hunting and “Live Long and Prosper,” my vintage friends.

Hey there, I'm Maribel Garcia Valls, and I'm all about vintage curation, room design, and graphic design. I've been obsessed with design ever since I was a kid, and I would always rearrange and style different spaces in my house. Thrift stores and garage sales are my jam, and I love discovering unique and eclectic pieces to add to my collection. When it comes to design, I'm all about pops of color and creating quirky and fun digital designs. I'm also a yoga and meditation teacher, and I use these tools as a way to express my creativity, along with journaling. While I have a Masters in Public Health and a Master's Certificate in Executive Coaching, my heart is always drawn to the more creative arts. For me, design is not just a hobby, it's a way of life. I believe that good design should be accessible to everyone, and I'm always on the lookout for inspiration in the world around me. Vintage curation, room design, writing, graphic design, and drawing are just a few of my passions, and I'm constantly exploring and expanding my skills with each new project.
